Our last night was spent at Yad Hashmona, a Messianic Jewish kibbutz, located in the Judean Hills, about 20 minutes west of Jerusalem. Over 50 families live here and they have a very comfortable hotel, a restaurant, and a Biblical garden. Fig, pomegranate, almond, date and olive trees, as well as grape vines, grow throughout the compound. It is a very peaceful place, and somewhere you'll want to return to again and again.
